Simi’s Middle Eastern Feasts

Simi Epstein grew up eating Middle Eastern food in a large Israeli family, when she moved to Shropshire, she realised it wasn’t available anywhere near, so realised she had to learn how to cook it herself!

Over the last 10 years, Simi has spent hours, sometimes even days, preparing and perfecting dishes full of flavour from all over the Middle East. This includes peeling every chickpea that goes into the Israeli Hummus, which has become a firm favourite within her family, friends and customers.

Last year Simi hosted a Pop-Up Middle Eastern Feast in Shrewsbury, which was a sell-out success, prompting her to arrange more!

The event will be in true feast style, with one sitting, where a delicious selection of hot and cold starters will be served, followed by main course, with a dessert being brought to every table, for guests to help themselves.

The menu is made up of authentic traditional dishes including Spicy Chicken Wings from Palestine, Persian onion, butter and pine nut rice and the smoothest hummus from Israel drizzled with olive oil, parsley, pine nuts and a touch of paprika.
