Join Butterbelle’s founder and chief food technologist, Zoe Harrison, for a master class in preparing and creating your own nut and seed butters. Founded in 2015, Zoe created Butterbelle’s all natural nut and seed products, which is fast becoming a firm staple in every health-conscious consumer’s cupboard.
Always interested in health, wellbeing and leading an active lifestyle, Zoe loved using nut butters to produce wholesome, nutritionally dense meals for her family but struggled to find products that didn’t contain unnecessary sugar and palm oil and so decided to develop her own.
Extensive research was undertaken to include the most nutritious, high quality and healthy ingredients for her new nut butters. Packed only in glass jars to complement Zoe’s love for the environment, the nutritious natural nut butters are flavoured with powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as cinnamon, raw cacao and ginger and contain no emulsifiers, refined sugar or palm oil. Following this, Zoe ran a recycling campaign, giving away free seeds with every purchase to encourage the re-use of her jars as seed starters.
Zoe now sells her nutritious and wholesome products at food festivals, artisan food markets and vegan fairs all over the country, with her two daughters – or baby-belles – Stevie and Lara.
During this whole day workshop you will make your own delicious nut butters under Zoe’s expert guidance. You’ll be taken through a step-by-step process including everything you need to know to produce your own nut butters, from source to spoon.
The workshop will cover:
